I mean, it worked. Sort of.
I mean, it worked. Sort of. First off, the one I got was tagged 9007, the box it was in said 9007, but it was in reality a 9004 harness. Not a big deal. Just re-pinned the connector and went on with my life. It worked perfectly for about 4 months, then when I went to leave for work one night I got a whole lot of nothing out of my headlights. Turns out that the relay module thing had taken on water despite being mounted where it was pretty well protected on the backside of the radiator core support. End result was the internal relay rotted off the circuit board. Good news was that all of the internal components were properly rated for the electrical load of a pair of HIDs, bad news is that the casing was no where near waterproof.I can't blame the vendor. There are dozens of vendors on a few sites selling this exact same harness. I have 2 of them from different vendors, they are identical. I can't even blame them for the 9007/9004 mixup as every marking on it and its packaging said it was 9007 leading me to believe the issue originated at the manufacture. As to why this one took on water and my other one (purchased way back in 2013) has been perfectly fine despite being mounted in roughly the same location in that vehicle, I have no idea. Maybe it was just bad luck? IDK. I'm not upset, I reused parts of the harness for a different project, you can't buy the connectors alone for what this harness costs.

Affordable relay harness for HID system requiring full 12v to startup.
On a particular vehicle that only output 5v at startup for daytime running lights (DRL), having this harness eliminated the possibility of one 35w HID ballast from firing up and another staying off. The only issue I ran into was the positive and negative eyes that are attached to the harness are far too small in internal diameter to fit my particular application, GM with standard AC Delco battery terminals. This was a simple fix as I opted to cut the original connectors off and attach ones that fit my particular application and then heat shrink everything back up again.

Unsealed relay - fails from moisture.
I'm only giving it two stars, because it did work out of the box. After four and a half months of use it failed. After some disassembly I found the relay has zero effective moisture prevention and zero vibration damping. One of the resistors completely corroded through and broke away from the board and the others all look to be in bad shape. If you live in a desert this product might last several years, but anywhere with even a bit of moisture and this thing will not last. That is a design flaw that the company absolutely has to be aware of. It could be solved with a nickel's worth of silicone sealant, but they haven't bothered.

great but like old harness is not water tight.
used this with a 6 month old Kensun HID system and it fit and worked perfectly. The old Kensun relay filled with water and corroded to the point of failing. this relay harness is functionally the same and designed the same so it still has the fault of the relay not being water tight. do not mount the relay sideways like i originally did or mount it upside down, it will flood and die. mount it upright with wires coming out of bottom and mount it in a place where water contact will either be minimal or if possible where water cant get to it.

Defective / Faulty Relay
Received this and installed it right away, replacing my old relay harness. I started up the car and holly cow.... the loudest buzzing sound was coming from the relay harness. I installed the old relay and the buzzing stopped. Even though the old relay is 2 years-old and going out, I cannot live with the loud buzzing as possible damage to the electrical system. Faulty / defective relay. Keeping the harness though as it is already installed and has an extra connection in-case I want to do HI / LOW beam xenon.

Great relay harness and easy installment...
I ordered this product because one of the wires on my old relay harness had been broken somehow which caused my headlights not to work. The product came in really fast! It actually came in a few days before the product estimated delivery date was scheduled for. The setup for this relay harness was really good. The only downfall I see with this product is that the ground wire, wires to the ballast, and wires to the light bulb were a little short so I had to move my ballast around plus some other wiring to barely get it to reach certain spots. If the manuafactor could make them a little longer that would make this product top notch! Other than that I hightly recommend this product to anyone who's looking for a great harness for a great price.

Had to retrofit with H13 bulb socket, burned out 2 ballasts.
Sorry for the low review, but upon attempting to install this relay harness it's been discovered that the input socket will not latch onto the factory harness. Because of this the ballasts flickered and eventually fused the coil. Both of them..The pins were also not very stable, and had to wiggle the connector to get them into the pigtail.I'm replacing my ballasts now and I'm going to solder the existing wires onto a broken off h13 bulb base (should work better, pins are very sturdy, and I KNOW the base will clip onto the harness)I would've returned it.but I tend to procrastinate and ran past the deadline.. wish I could contact the seller directly, I hate leaving negative feedback.

Great value and works as it should
This is a great value for an HID harness to add to your existing system (for those without CANBUS). This is more cost efficient than if I had to make my own by buying the parts off the shelf (from experience years ago). I tested all the connections and inspected the solder points and the details and this is a quality product. Don't spend $50-70 from others for the same thing. As for the complaints about too small a terminal size, etc.: this is a universal product. Get yourself a soldering iron and terminals and replace what you don't need. It literally takes less than 2 minutes to get that changed, otherwise the item is solid.
