DUOFIRE Decorative Repositionable Stained Non-Adhesive Privacy Glass Window Film DP005-1 (0.9M X 2M)

Very nice quality. Extremely easy to put on without bubbles. As other reviewers have stated 1) too narrow for most windows requiring two pieces; 2) repeat is 18 inches or so like wallpaper so there is a lot of waste if one wants a perfect "stained glass window".

I will start this with saying my dogs have been driving me crazy because there are 2 side panel clear windows beside our front door - I can't afford to put in the really nice proper stained glass windows, so at under $20 this was my cheap alternative to try to keep them quiet. So far so good, they are both very annoyed they can't see out now!It's pretty easy to use if you follow the instructions, which are pretty clear if badly translated to English at times. I had 2 6 inch wide panels and they were about 65 inches high so one 20 inch roll worked and I was able to cut the pattern to match in each side (I'm odd like that, it had to match in pattern).I cut it slightly larger as per the instructions and because I didn't want to cut precisely to size as I was concerned I might make a mistake - then I trimmed at the end with a good quality utility knife with a new blade.I didn't use a spray bottle, I used dampened paper towel. I also didn't use a credit card to smooth out the bubbles, I used the little cloth that came in the tube which also doubles as a way to get rid of the excess water if you sprayed too much.It took me about 60 minutes to do both windows and I have included some photos - it would have taken me 30 but removing that thin film from the smooth side of the decal was the hardest part - seriously, no kidding, it took me 20 minutes to get the first side off and only about 10 minutes for the other window panel (mainly because by then I actually believed there WAS a film - I wasn't convinced there was anything the first time because I couldn't find it!).I think it looks really pretty and it has solved my problem for now - I am not sure how it will hold up to my dogs if they start jumping up, but at $20 for the two windows I am impressed at how nice it really looks.MY TIP: fold a corner in about a quarter inch at most on the diagonal and roll it back and forth between your finger and thumb to try to get a little bit of the thin film up so you can simply peel it off, I found that worked pretty well in the end!

The Duofire window film was delivered a few days ago. It was very easy to apply and as you can see looks very nice. My only problem occurred when I scraped the film to force the liquid out, the last step in applying. A small amount of the red "ink I assume" come off a flower or two. I tried to paste a picture but was unable.

This product is amazing. It was easy to do. I have an old door in my living room that we had a blind on for privacy. I came across the window clings one day while "window shopping" on Amazon. I thought if they actually work it would look 10x better than a blind. I ordered this design because I got more for my money and it was still nice to look at. The old door has 12 individual glass windows. I measured the windows and made a stencil with card stock. I made sure it was correct and used that to cut the rectangles out for the Windows. Mine didn't come with a squeegee so I used an old store savings card I had in my wallet. I sprayed the Windows with soapy water and set the cling to the window. I moved it around till I got it exactly where I wanted. I used the card to squeegee the water out from behind the cling making sure to get out all air bubbles. Oh FYI make sure your windows are super clean before starting. I'm extremely happy with the end result. I had some left over that I used on my daughters bedroom window as well. Looks like real stained glass.

This looks great! Even prettier than the picture. My daughter and I installed this in less time than I thought it would take. I love the privacy it gives me in the bedroom of my travel trailer while making the window look beautiful. This applied easier than other privacy films I used in the past on other windows. I think it was easier to install because it is a little thicker than some of the less expensive films. My daughter liked it so much on my window that she used what was left over to cover the bathroom window in her RV. She also covered one of her ceiling lights so now that light looks like it has a stained glass shade!We did not cut this 1/2 inch larger than needed as the instructions state. We cut it to fit and this eliminated the need to then try to trim the excess after the film was on the window. I think this made for an easier install and a neater trim appearance.

Very nice! Just as described window cling that's soo pretty to look at, especially when the sun's shining through it from outside.It offers superb privacy while not compromising your decor! I had to re-position this a couple of times to get it right and it didn't seem to phase it one bit, no tears or wrinkles. Super easy install, water spray bottle,credit card to scrape over it to remove wrinkles/air pockets and razor blade for cutting! It's also of a very durable weight while still allowing plenty of natural light to come through & if I ever tire of this design I can just peel it off in one solid piece,no muss,no fuss.The design depicted is exactly what you get,no surprises hoping. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat if I need more window film!

I needed this for a bathroom window. The pattern didn't match up and the color is more pink than red. It peeled right off the window even though I followed directions exactly (I have other windows with similar film on them). I ended up just throwing it all away. I expressed my displeasure with it but received no reply. Do not buy unless the dimensions are exact.
