Good quality drill with all required features
Seems a good quality solid item. The motor is powerful and the drill has all the features I was hoping for such as variable speed settings.

Disappointing
The drill is actually good value and seemed quite well made. However, after about 20 hours use since I bought it 2.5 years ago the speed control trigger has failed. The selling agent has no back up spares or service facility so it's throw away time. Ridiculous!

Drill bits not included :/ hammer function not working either.
Received the drill but did not receive the 70pc tool set as shown in the image.Switching the drill to hammer mode does not initiate hammer mode. The hammer mode does not seem to work. I wanted this drill to drill into brick - I cannot do that without the hammer function.

Overall a Good Drill for Reasonable Price
A good piece of kit at a reasonable price. Easy to use & reasonably light for this kind of drill.Only criticism would be that the drill bits could be marked up as Wood, Steel or Masonry, for those of us girls who aren't too sure!

Problems with usage
Any drill which declares itself "not to be designed for use with attachments" ( TTID710 p11 clause 11) ) is not much of a drill. This should really be declared in the product description, as this was precisely the use that I bought it for. if I had known this I would have bought an alternative product. The speed control also seems to have to be set each time the drill switch is operated ( despite manual instructions on p15/16 ), rather than starting at the speed the thumb wheel was set to on last operation, which is annoying if you have the speed set for a particular task and want to repeat the operation several times.

Does what it says on the tin!
I have no gripes with this piece of equipment at all. Have only used it minimally (to put a window blind up) but was very happy with its performance. The last electric drill i handled was a very heavy Black and Decker in the 70's and for the price this cost, I know which one I prefer!
