The media could not be loaded.  This microphone has a very flat frequency response, +/- 3db from about 85 Hz to above 10 kHz. I didn't find any distortion or undue emphasis throughout the vocal range. Very directional, as you can hear in the video (be sure to use good headphones to hear the effect!). It is shiny, and solid. Metal all the way around, and treated on the body of the microphone to resist corrosion from hand oils, etc. Looks good and feels good! The magnetic switch is a nice touch. Silent switching between OFF and ON. It comes with a wind screen to cut out wind or strong breathing from interfering with the sound pickup. The low-noise, detachable cable has a very generous 16' length. The 1/4" phone plug even has a gold-plated tip to ensure a good signal connection. Why wouldn't you buy this?

[I’m weekend warrior gigging musician of over 35 years.]I bought this microphone primarily for home use and the recording of vocals -you can never have enough mics!The microphone is well-built and has a good heft to it. The silver color has a nice retro look to it and there is a convenient switch to turn it on and off as well. The switch does feel a little floppy. It comes with a fairly long good, average solder connections, and a foam screen for the mic.The response is pretty good for this cardioid pattern mic. I would surmise it is to align with the popular “58” model of another maker. So the sound is there, but I have no way to quantify durability. Naturally if you take care of something, it should last a decent amount of time.I will use this for micing guitar/bass amps, gigging, and home recording. I’m not a singer at the performing level, but I can see this used with karaoke, smaller live performances, as a backup, in addition to home recording, internet/podcast. There is always a use for schools, businesses, etc.Based on this quality, I will also be looking at Moukey for gear in the future.

Good little speaker but I’m not sure why the wireless mike only works when I plug a wired Mike into to the speaker. And the mike that came with it is very cheep and plastic and the top keeps falling off. But it’s pretty good for the price although my daughter sings very loud and I don’t think it will last long.

We got a really nice karaoke machine that only came with one mic, and that mic really wasn't that good. So we decided to buy this Moukey one to have on hand as an extra. It works great! 10x better than the one we originally had. The sound is really great, and the cord is super long. Good for parties. We'll definitely buy another one when the time arises.

Very nice well built microphone that does not need battery power. I use it for running my guitar through the PA system. I use an articulated boom mic stand to hold the mic in front of my speaker cab. That way I can hear the natural tone of my sound and my soundman can feed my signal through the board and out the mains. Nice flat response curve for my guitar frequencies so it does not need equalization. The mic is directional forward so it does not tend to pick up sounds from other instruments and monitors located nearby. Used standard XLR cable without external power. Has foam cover over screen. Very nice setup for my use.

This mic is separate then all our others. Only used for myself; which isn’t very often and this is the pull out of the cord. I’m super bummed. It does sound great, my only concern is if it was regularly used how long would it last.

This mic is way better than the mic that come with the kareoke machine, mine broke so I was afraid of what I would get for my money but this bad boy is amazing and clear and you don't need to hold it so close to hear your voice, even with the cover over it works wonders, honestly for the price it works wonders. A little on the heavy side and the cord is super long but all in all it works perfect for my Saturday night kareoke.

I ordered this mic about 10 days ago to use for an event. Throughout the day the mic kept cutting in and out. I then tried plugging it into my mixing board 2 days after that and it didn't work at all. Not a terribly expensive loss but very disappointing as I did like the design and it looked and felt like a quality mic. Unfortunately you get what you pay for sometimes.

As you see on the pictures, cable broken near the microphone after one month of seldom use. Worst of all the metal end of the cable also broke! And it’s broken part is stuck in my JBL party box, that I purposely bought for karaoke. I hope I will take this part out otherwise it will damage my speaker for good. So very much disappointed. It looks professional but is horrible quality.

This thing is a tank. Super sturdy feel. Clear sound for a cheap mic. Have bought many mics over the years and this one was very impressive for its cost. You won't be disappointed.
