Okonomi Sauce - 17.6oz by Otafuku. (2 Pack)

The definition of awesome sauce. A must for making okonomiyaki. As a side note, the bottle has no label and my brother in law thought it was pancake syrup, so that was an interesting morning.

I was told that this was a good brand, but honestly it was a bit too salty, so if you do get this use very sparingly and not like you would normally use this sauce on your Okonomiyaki. I think I will not be lazy next time and just keep making my own. Don't get me wrong I am sure some people will love this, it just was too salty for me, I am very sensitive to strong flavors.

This is more than for Yakisoba or Okonomiyaki. Anyone (Americans) who loves the taste of BBQ would love it. May not be s spicy but it goes well with cooked vegetables as well.

I've been making okonomiyaki sauce here in Texas from Worcestershire sauce and ketchup, not really knowing what I was doing. I'll be buying the real thing from now on. I love the taste, and it's worked great on steak and sandwiches too.

This is good stuff. Yummy goodness on broiled, roasted or grilled foods, either vegetables or meats including fish. Makes for tasty burgers or bean cakes, tacos, burritos, lots of possibilities. A little goes a long way, or use more if thats how you like it. This okonomi sauce, and Kewpie mayonaise, are nice condiments to keep handy in the kitchen, along with hoisen and bean paste and similar sundries. This is a nice blend of fruits and spices, dates being the primary base.

After trying Okonomi Sauce, I have found it to be a go-to condiment and cooking sauce. Delicious.

One of the traditional toppings for okonomiyaki (Japanese pancakes), this sauce is flavorful and the bottle lasts a long time. It seems to have a soy sauce base, but with much more flavor than soy sauce alone. We're using it on eggs, vegetables, and Chinese food, too. Tasty stuff.

I have used this for all the times I have actually made Okonomiyaki (which is quite a bit in the past few months) and it is great. After using up the flour, I still had some left, so I use it in other dishes as well including but not limited to Rice and Fish bowl and Ramen. It works great for Okonomiyaki and can be used for other things as well.
