At first, the feeder seemed promising, but it quickly proved inconsistent. The portion sizes varied unpredictably, and on occasion, food wouldn't dispense at all. This unreliability is concerning, especially for those of us who rely on it during long workdays. To add to the disappointment, the unit ceased functioning entirely after just a few months.Update - the company reached out and sent a replacement. So far so good! Five star customer service!!

This feeder has been dependable with and without electricity (as long as the batteries are good) for over two years! I highly recommend.

The feed worked ok, there where time it would not come out, but the only issue I have is it does not last. Our unit is now no longer working will not dispense the kibble and we tried everything and fully cleands and even used a dust remover with little air to get all the kibble particles out and it just stopped turning. A little disappointed about that

I bought two of these. One for my cat & one for the dog. And they both serve as a storage containers now.1. instructions and set up were a little tricky but I was able to figure it out with some trial and error.2. both products had batteries and plugged in3. I lost power due to the storm and the cat feeder stoped working ~ this was after about 3 months.4. Dog feeder quit 3 months after that (6 months total). Also after a power glitch. Power goes in and out for 5 minutes and the both quit.5. Dog feeder now talks on schedule (we set it up to call Leo for dinner) but no actual kibble is dispensced :/6. PS it was not great with dog size kibble. Worked (for a little while) a lot better with cat food.[Review Posted twice for the two products i purhcased]

We've been using this feeder for about a week and so far so good. I have a 5 month old kitten that eats everything in the bowl way too fast. We were trying to portion out his food several times a day, but this does it for us! It is very easy to set up. I chose this one because the portions are small and controllable. Having said that, the portions seem to be a tad bigger than they say they are. I measured each meal on the first day to see how much our kitten was getting and had to adjust down a little bit.We did not use the recording feature. The house is small and our cat hears the food fall and comes running. The machine itself is very quiet, but the food hitting the metal bowl makes noise.The only thing I would change, or add to, this device is the bowl - I really need a slow feeder bowl. I had hoped our regular "maze bowl" would fit under the food spout, but it doesn't. Instead, I've put some large toy balls in the bowl for our cat to eat around. This has worked so far! I'm sharing this in case anyone else has the same issue of your cat eating too fast then immediately regurgitating the food!

I work full time, but have 2 cats (1 & 5 yrs) and a kitten (4 mo), so having a feeding system for them while I’m away from my home is very essential. Since I already had 2 other different WOpet timed feeders (which both worked great) for my 2 older cats, and will soon be transitioning my kitten from free feeding to a timed portion control, I figured I’d upgrade the old feeders, along with the new one for my kitten. Since I’ve had such a good experience with WOpet machines for about a year now, I wanted to stick with same brand, and the same amenities, but with a more modern & sleek design, and a bigger food storage capacity. When I landed on this one I really liked the design, and it had everything I was looking for, but was hesitant at first because of all the negative reviews. I decided to take a chance anyways, and purchase 1 to start out with.I was no stranger to the setup and programming because it’s exactly the same as my other 2 WOpet feeders, which is incredibly easy if the instructions are read properly. The only inaccuracy I’ve found with WOpet products are the portion sizes that are provided in the user manual, but it only takes a minute to drop some food in, and the count how many times you manually press the feed button, until you get the desired amount for your pet, and then just set the meal size that way. Also, be mindful that the machine runs on 24 hour clock, not 12.I tested and monitored the machine, confirming that it worked properly with both the included plug, and just batteries. I also made sure it was releasing the correct amount of programed food at a the desired set times. Everything worked perfectly and was spot on, so I went ahead and purchased 2 more of the same feeders for my other cats, both having the same satisfactory outcome and proper functioning.Once again, I’m very happy with my WOpet purchase, and that I chose to look past the negative reviews on this model, because now all my cats have new matching feeders, that work on the same schedule, and suits their mealtime needs.
