Dimensions not quite accurate
I really like these cannoli tubes, the reason I gave 4 stars is, did anyone noticed that the tubes are 5.500 not 5.750 (.250" shorter) and the diameter is not 1" but 13/16" (.81"smaller) whatr's the third dimension? (Inside/outside diameter?) It's a tube, I don't mean to be nit picking but the dimensions should be accurate, I'm a retired structural engineer, in my profession .81" or a .250" discrepancy might as we be a mile, please revise your specifications.

I made cannolis
I have zero experience and I was able to use these to make cannoli shells. Then I made filling and stuffed them. One thing to look out for is that, as other people mentioned, these seem skinnier than a standard cannoli. Meaning the diameter of the tube is smaller than I expected and it made them harder to stuff. It was a fun project though, and I really felt like a baker. You get better at making the shells after you make a few. The recipe on the box was easy and used all ingredients I had available in my cupboard. It made tons of shells, probably 30. The results were lovely!

Home made cannolis!
I admit I've never tried another brand before but these worked great for us. We're not expert chefs but we enjoyed making this and we might be trying it again for a fun holiday treat from the whole family. This worked best for us in a big pot with an assembly line: one or two people wrapping the dough on the forms and one person at the pot stirring and pulling them out when they were done. You definitely want to wear an apron when working with the boiling oil and don't drop the cannolis in, set them gently into the oil or you might be burned.

Not 1" in diameter as advertised.
Product description said these are 1" diameter. The ones I received were 0.875" (7/8") diameter. I chose these because they were advertised to be slightly larger than others. No big deal to most, but a disappointment to me.

Yum
Would have liked them a bit bigger in circumference but I simply fold the dough around 1/4 of an inch loose to enlarge. Should come with a bristle for cleaning. Will hold up well for the 5 times a year I'll use them.

I love being able to make my own cannoli's
Love these. Always wanted to try making cannolis so one day I just took a chance and ordered these. What fun as long as you follow your recipe They get hot when you take them from the oil so drain well and let cool a little before you remove the tubes or you will burn your fingers. . First time around and my canollis came out perfect! good productI purchased these in 2011 and it is now 2015 and though I dont use them a lot.. they are still as pristine as when they first arrived.. they look brand new and still work great.

Worked well!
Worked perfectly. The process of making cannolis is long, but it was worth it. Be careful removing from the oil, let any oil trapped inside the tube drain/empty out before transferring.

I would recommend.
Works well. In the future I will use with puff pastry in the oven or use dough recipe that comes with the tubes as I don't care for that gritty texture of ricotta cheese. Also included is a stuffing recipe, which I used. These were not hard to make. Just read the recipe 2 to 3 times b/4 making. I also prepped everything which made it a lot easier, especially working with the hot grease. I would recommend.
