So much fun!
Such a fun album to have on vinyl - I wish more of my favorites from the 90s and 00s could also be reissued. Even better, it hasn't dated a day!

Wonderful album but you may it want to buy elsewhere
Great album but you should probably buy it from your local record store. Amazon first shipped it in a bag(!), then when I requested an exchange, they sent another in a flimsy bubble wrap mailer. Not sure what happened to their cardboard mailers.

Good!!! Fun!!!
**Intro**This album is one of the earlier ones produced by Merrill Nisker, just after she started using the stage name of Peaches. This album is generally of the Electroclash genre, and contains plenty of keyboard/synth, drums, and *intense* front woman rapping and singing. As the cover art suggests, the topics are largely sexual in nature, and from the female perspective. This feminine perspective goes against the grain set by most rap out there.**Musicality**I find the songs F the Pain Away, Rock Show, Keine Melodien, Casanova, and Sex (I'm A) to be the best ones. In these songs, Peaches is usually singing about female sexuality, and both hetero- and homosexual. In all cases, Peaches' vocals are prominent, never being obscured by the accompanying percussion, guitar, and electronica. It is as if she's right in front of you going crazy with the mike. Her singing varies between shouting, rapping, singing lyrically, grunting, groaning, and bellowing. You'll hear the most of this variety all contained in the Casanova song. The F the Pain Away song is probably the best of the whole album. The lyrics have a visceral sound to them, they leave nothing to the imagination, and the percussion in the back ground seems to have martial discipline. The rhymes are well done. The timing of the vocals is effective. If you are going to buy one song off this album, buy that one.My reservations for this album come from some of the music being a little too repetitive, similarly to how House music can be. In the case of Felix Partz, there aren't any lyrics at all. I think that is a huge shame, because the crazy edgy lyrics/vocals that Peaches provides are the best aspect of her work - without the vocals there really isn't anything left. Though this album is a two disc set, three of the songs on the second disk are remixes, and Keine Melodien is a cover, leaving me wishing for more content. Keine Melodien is pretty good, but I'm not sure if I like it quite as well as the original Jeans Team version. Peaches does put a lot of energy and passion into it, so that's good.**Summary**If you are going to buy one song off this album, the best one is F the Pain Away. If you are going to buy more, see my short list in **Musicality**, or you can just buy the whole album. Not every song is a strong/good one, but enough of them are good to give this album four stars. If you like this album, you should see also the several other albums that Peaches has done since this one. Some of them are better in my opinion, particularly I Feel Cream. I think Peaches got better with more time as she gained more experience as a musician.

Very raunchy
This woman tells it like it is. Short on lyrical content, but you'll get the point. Great to work out to. Unapologetic.

Classic album
Classic album. Definitely ' X-rated ' (would be one way to put it), but the unique sound (electroClash) makes it worth getting past the 'shock' factor

Post-20th-Century-Hip-Hop-Rock-Wave
Along with Le Tigre, Peaches is defining a new age of Female Rock. Peaches is an amazing melding of 80's Kraftwerk-esque beats with aggressive 90's riot-grrl vocal stylings, overtly sexual lyrics, and almost hip-hop lyrical delivery. In a (thankfully) post-post-grunge rock landscape, it's finally okay to have fun while making music, and not take yourself too seriously. Peaches is a clear indicator of that.
