Required if you have a puppy running around.
Works like a charm. I could smell that my puppy had made a mistake somewhere while I was out, but couldn’t find the area he did it. The odor was undeniable. The flashlight arrived and I found the mess within a couple minutes. Brightness is high, it’s as easy to use as a normal flashlight (have batteries), and completely worth the value.

Great product! I bought it to shine on rocks, it does just that. Has a bright light, good handle! Not a bad price and seems sturdy.

PERFECT
I have an 18 year old cat that has had an issue throwing up. I wanted the black light to see if the cleaning products I’ve been using were removing everything from the carpet.This light worked amazing!! I used it first thing in the morning so it was nice and dark. The light had excellent brightness and showed stained areas very well.A little too well. Yikes

It works well, but it's a risk
This flashlight works well, but it arrived missing parts. It was missing a coil so I couldn't add the other battery. We had to fix it ourselves to make it work. Overall, the light IS bright enough to detect urine stains even when I had my regular lights on. I would recommend this product if you know how to fix missing coils from the battery.

Add glowing dye and makes for easy leak finding
Weak but does the job in the dark. Bough to find glowing dye residue for checking of oil leaks on engines. You could scorpion hunt with it I guess but it's not super bright.
