SOYO Pot Rack

The media could not be loaded.  It was a little difficult to install and the bracket it came with didn't seem to reach all the way to the back of the cabinet. I think it might have been intended to be installed in a different way, but we got it to work.

I originally ordered just one of these for a base cabinet with a door. When we replaced our natural gas range with an electric induction cooktop I decided to build an open shelf underneath it. After completing the shelves on the right for our heavy cast iron pans & Dutch oven I looked an the remaining open area on the left & said “this is where that slide-out pan hanger needs to go!” I measured the diameters & lengths of our wok & our collection of All Clad fry, sauce & sauté pans & quickly realized that while one of these would be nice, two would be even better! I spent 6 summers working in the kitchen of an amazing gourmet restaurant during high school & college & all the pans we used hung from hooks above our heads. I loved being able to just reach up & grab whatever I needed & it was easy to determine if we had to tell the dishwasher to get anything washed ASAP so we wouldn’t run out. Although we didn’t use lids a ton, when we needed them they were always in a messy pile on a low shelf & it was not fun sorting thru them to find the right one. Now that I’m 55, having our pans & lids right under our cooktop & right next to the dishwasher & stainless steel sink is ideal! Just pull the sliding rack out until you see the pan you want, lift it off its hook, slide the rack back in, slide the matching lid off the handle & you’re ready to cook in less than 15 seconds! And if you’re like me & prefer washing your large pans by hand instead of taking up a lot of space in your dishwasher, you can just wash the pan & lid, rinse the soap suds off, slide the lid over the handle & let the last few drops of water drip dry while hanging. Not everyone likes open shelving, but if you cook a lot & prefer function over form/appearance, you will love these! I originally had our cast iron pans hanging on these but have since determined that they are simply too heavy & are much easier to store on a flat shelf - like the ones to the right of these awesome slide-out hangers!

I'm very happy with this rack. I hate a messy cupboard, and pots and pans are hard to keep neat. With this rack, you can hang up to 6 of them and then just slide the device back into your cabinet to hide them away. I have mine in the lower cabinet next to the stove, so it's very easy to just slide it out and pick a pan. I can't speak to ease of assembly since I had it done by a handyman. But I can report that it's very sturdy. The track and hooks are heavy and strong, and the slide is smooth. I only wish they'd included a few more hooks, or designed it so hooks can be added. I still have to hide a couple pans in the oven.

Took it out from the box, saw it, so beautiful, installed it right away. If you do it the right way feom the beginning, it takes about 5 to 10 minutes to install it by yourself. Just loving it. My mom saw it, and she wants it too already.

This is very well designed. As a designer, I am impressed. It was easy to install. You DO need a ceiling to attach to in your cabinet so keep that in mind. Our cabinet did not (if you stick your head into the cabinet, you can see the bottom of the drawer above). I constructed a ceiling in our cabinet and it was a breeze from there. I am very happy and recommend this product.

I have a small pantry. I put this on the bottom shelf and love how easy it is to reach all the pots and pans now. Strongly recommend.
