These inserts work great with my diaper genie and are 1/2 the cost of the diaper genie brand! they are a strong plastic and it holds a lot of diapers!

I bought these trying to save some money on the name brand munchkin refills.The first one I had literally popped apart as soon as I tried to load it. I exchanged it for a new one and the second one came apart too, but anticipating the problem I was able to fit it back together before it completely unraveled. It also doesn't seem to quite fit in to the pail properly. I don't know if that is a design flaw or because it came apart initially. Finally, I've been using the name brand ones for a year and have never had one tear but these have torn twice already.I am very disappointed and I do NOT recommend.

I bought one of these singles instead of the multi pack because I was worried it wouldn't fit the newer diaper genie elite 2. After all was said and done I'll say it mostly fit. The top doesn't quite close with these refills. The canister is slightly taller and it leaves the lid up by about 1cm. This isn't really an issue at our current stage of diapering since our son hasn't started eating solid food yet. If the poo your dealing with is particularly stinky, I'd stick to the genuine article. Other wise, I had no issues at all. As one other reviewer mentioned the bags come out a bit easier which I actually see as an upgrade to the originals. It seemed to help them snake around in the bottom of the pail better and I could wait longer in between tying off the end of the bag.
