Helicopters: Military Hardcover – January 15, 2014

I'm developing a game about combat helicopters and we have almost every helicopter factfile / encyclopedia book you could find. This one is probably the best. Illustrations are great, profiles and history references are on point, facts correspond with other sources. Great book for anyone interested in helicopter history. This is kind of book I would read for hours when I was a child.

Great book, fun and informative to browse through.I was disappointed that it doesn't include either the AW101 or the S-92 that were in competition for the new "Marine One", but other than that it's pretty comprehensive. I had already purchased "Modern Military Aircraft" that is in the same layout format, so now the two books make a great set.

This was a Christmas gift for an eight year old helicopter enthusiast. It was his 'early open' present on Christmas Eve when we celebrated with his family. He became so engrossed he didn't want to open anything else. He tells me a new fact he's learned each time I see him. Great quality book for both adults and those children who are passionate about helicopters.

My 2.5 and 4 year old sons love this book. They are both fav instead with helicopters so this book keeps their interest!

The book is full of information about helicopters from all countries.

Great book, a good single source reference book about helicopters. Good photos, line drawings, statistics and text.

Beautiful illustrations. Very informative. Gift to grandson who is going to helicopter training. He loved the book.

Best helicopter picture book of any. Good price. Delivered as promised.

This is an older book from the mid 2000s, so its missing some of the newer machines. No Chinese Z-8, Z-9, Z-10, Z-18, Z-19 or Z-20. Also no Kawasaki OH-1, or Indian HAL Light Combat Helicopter (LCH). Even the RAH-66 Commanche is absent, although the AH-56 Cheyenne is there. No S-92 either, or CH-53K. Still, an okay book for beginners. You'll just have to compile a list of all the unrepresented choppers yourself and know where to find them all on the web!

Un très bon récapitulatif des différents modèles existants.. malheureusement, pas suffisamment mis à jour par rapport aux modèlesactuel même après une "mise à jour" en 2005. Il est suffisamment complet que pour donner une bonne idée des modèles d'hélicoptèresjusqu'aux années 2000.
