ADCO 9754 Silver Diamond Plated Steel Vinyl Spare Tire Cover E (Fits 29 3/4 Diameter Wheel)

Way too scant for me!!It fits the diameter of the tire fine but does not wrap over the backside of the tire at all. Matter of fact, it just barely covers all of the tread. To use it on a RV spare (mounted against the back of the RV) might be okay but I am using the cover on a utility trailer spare and it looks terrible from all angles except straight on. I have had many spare covers over the years and they all wrapped over and down onto the sidewall on the back side of the tire. This model does not and it is very disappointing.

Purchased 8/13/16 wanted to wait a few months to get a few trips in. First it helps to turn the cover inside out making sure the drain grommet is at the bottom for easier installation.The size ordered was a perfect fit. Over the Thanksgiving holiday on the central Oregon coast we had two days of extreme weather including gale force winds. The RV spare is on the back and in this instance faced the ocean. The cover stayed tightly in place took a beating and still looks like new. If a person makes sure to order the correct size and flip it inside out to place it on the tire it will go on fine as suggested earlier.

Bought a size one inch larger than RAV specs bc so many reviewers mentioned it was skimpy. Using it over my exterior-mounted spare tire AND the starting-to-rip spare tire cover, it's very loose. Hate to take off a star for my mistake, but I can't say I LOVE it.It did tend to smooth out after a few days and the extra material became less noticeable. Fits around the tire and tucks well into the underside. Material is surprisingly thick and pliable, seems well made. How it'll hold up in the Florida sun is to be determined.Finish is somewhat glossy & slightly-metallic, which matches my dull silver-grey bumpers. It does NOT have a mirror-finish like diamond plate, and the pattern is only faintly embossed. More like a brushed stainless steel finish, but more plastick-y than metallic. It doesn't look chintzy, even though it's unabashedly vinyl.Price was right- seventy five dollars cheaper than Toyota hard shell replacement part.Arrived on time and adequately packaged.

It fit my tire and goes on fairly easy. A friend suggested turning it inside out so that you can line it up better. It worked much better that way. If you started from the top, you can't get the bottom to fit right. (Which I was complaining to him about). Just turn it inside out, line it up so that the drain slot is at the bottom, and roll it over the tire. I used my knee to keep it from shifting while I rolled it on.. It's probably not going to look as good as the picture, but should at least look decent when you're done.

I have a 16" wheel. As advertised this cover will fit a 27" wheel. So it should fit right? They don't really mean wheel, they mean tire. And as I had reasoned, it may fit the tire cause my wheel is so much smaller than 27". And it was very snug. But just a little tug and the lower seam let go, like ripping a worn out old tee shirt, but this was a new cover. The thin thread holding the seam together was unimaginable if you honestly wanted to make a durable tire cover. Too bad as the vinyl appeared durable. Correct the description and upgrade the materials. Offer a translation between the manufacturer's size codes and actual tire diameters. I hate to return anything, but in this case not a good transaction/product.

This tire cover was just as described and fit like a glove. It looks great and matches the look of my trailer's frontend as it should. It can now strut its stuff with the best of them half its age. A little Viagra and I'll need to keep thing locked up in the back yard.

Just Bought! Fits snug on my 225/75 tire. Any bigger tire and I would suggest the next size larger cover. I didn't have trouble putting it on, just go slow and turning it inside out did nothing for me. It looks great on my silver Shadow Cruiser Camper. The 'diamond plate' steel does not show up at a distance, but that's ok. Like others have said, it does not cover the back of the tire completely. Against the camper it's ok, a tire mounted on a flatbed would leave half the tire exposed to the weather. Overall I am happy with it.

This was an easy slip on. Seems like it will stay on while going down the road. I wish it was white instead of silver. From a distance, it looks like a cheep silver tarp. I do not know of any trailer that this will match, as they are all black, or white coverings. My trailer is only used to go in the forest, but if I parked in RV locations, where others could see my trailer, I would fork out more money for a white covering.

I like the fact that it looks like diamond plate. But you can easily tell its vinyl. The quality of product and workmanship is great. My only dislike is that there is no way to secure it to tire. My tire is mounted on tongue frame of my trailer. The cover has blown off a few times.

I was going to buy a tire cover in white or off white but decided on the diamond plated steel, looks great and is still cool to the touch while. Will save my tire from the suns UV rays.
