Deceptive Picture
I had a grocery bag purchased in France for 40 years. I was large enough to wear over your should and easily held what is shown in this picture. The 3 bags I just got were so small that they probably would not hold the produce shown all together...

Cute, durable, large.
Bigger than I expected, these bags have been a durable and cute way to carry fresh veggies. I like using these at farmers' markets (and even traditional produce shopping) because I can skip the single-use plastic bags. Works best for round fruits, like apples, cucumbers, and ginger etc....where as carrots are a little tricker.

Very affordable and functional but may not be durable
These are very affordable, and hold far more groceries than I'd expected. I love that they stuff easily and unobtrusively into a jacket pocket when walking to a store, and the cotton material is very soft and comfortable to my hand. However, one of the three I bought snagged against a bush when walking home full yesterday, and ripped a hole in its mesh. That may make me seek a stronger fabric (such as nylon) for its replacement.

I purchased these as I work as a cashier and loved when my customers had these bags, they're incredibly stretchy and perfect when buying many boxed items as corners don't poke at the bag and fill all the space. They just banned plastic bags here in California and made this purchase to prepare for the law change. Unfortunately, I had one bag that had the net come undone after 1 use. Being a cashier, I definitely made sure to not overload bags. Loved it, but really bummed as one bag costs $5.

Perfect for beach toys!
These bags work wonderfully for beach toys! I throw them all in the bag, dip the bag into ocean waves while holding the handles. Give a little shake to dry and voila! No sand left!
