I paid for this product just like anyone else and I honestly just like this product.Bought this as a gift for the hubby this past Christmas -- hubby LOVES this! He is very particular when it comes to taking care of his personal belongings and prized possessions (such as his vinyl collection), and was thrilled upon receiving this. He says he's been using it religiously on all records that he plays, even his new ones. He claims they definitely sound better after they are cleaned. He also said there was equipment in the box to clean the needle itself as well as other various parts that he never thought of cleaning before. Overall, he is very happy with this gift and I was very happy with the price and shipping.

OUTSTANDING! Complete Hi-Quality Kit w/Very Nice & Good Size, Strong Tin. Along with the supplied cloth I also use a "Buff Quick Cloth" (2pk w/case 5.98, Amazon) & other microfiber cloths on filthy old 78s. These records are usually nasty when I get them and they eat cloths up quickly). The needle brush is smart, quickly cleans your stylus likety-split. The record brush is #1, sells for 11.50/15.50+. Run it round the record as it's spinning and you can see the results, even when you think a record needs no cleaning. I think the anti-static feature "really" works, helps to release any tough dust there might be. There's room in the Tin for other stuff you may have. The cleaning fluid works well but I also use "Endust for Electronics" (Amazon 4.31), Great Stuff I use on lenses, screens, records... It's a good sized can, fits in the Tin w/ orig. Tin contents + bunch other stuff. You won't find a complete quality kit with such a nice attractive, convenient, Container. A bargain @ 24.45.

Pros= lots of options for the care/cleaning of records, and stylus, is included in the kit. Comes in nice, metal storage box.Con= The bottle containing the spray cleaning leaks fluid if laid on its side. This means A. Upon opening the metal box containing the kit I found that some of the cleaning fluid had leaked out, thus drenching everything inside, and B. Storing the cleaning fluid in the neat metal box was not an option.Would I buy it again?Meh

If you collect new pressings or need to give your old records a bit of a shine then this kit will do you just fine. It would also make a nice gift for a new enthusiast. But if your collection is made up of dusty attic or thrift store finds, this isn't your solution. There isn't enough material for bulk deep cleaning. I am happy I bought this kit, but it isn't my only method of record care.

I purchased the LP Cleaning kit because it had every thing I wanted in one place plus a way to keep it stored and clean. When it arrived the metal box had a dent on one side. I contacted Amazon for a replacement, printed my label and asked for a replacement. Before I was able to make it to the UPS drop box the replacement was at my house. Great response from the company to keep a client happy. The kit is as advertised and just what I wanted.

Followed included instructions and cleaned 2 recently purchased used records that had dust, many small scratches and visible dirt in some grooves and was able to play them with no skips and only a couple of small snaps audible during playback. No problem with bristles coming out of brush as I read in another review. Kit was well made in a displayable storage box and was well worth the $18.99 price. Highly recommend.

This was very good purchase to help bring back most of my records! Granted there are some records that just couldn't be saved but it didn't cost much at all to try to get them back to their original version. The ones that just needed the deep cleaning that this provides it did wonders! I don't think you'll be disappointed as I wasn't.

All in order in a nice case. Good instructions. Doing its job in cleaning the records. You will still need to use an editing program to remove the clicks . The free editing program Audacity does a good job and is faster than the expensive program used prior. Cleaning does not remove scratches....don't expect it to.

This product was and is being used to clean our collection of albums and singles. These have been stored in the loft for 20 years! The large brush is a little weak and comes apart but simple enough to put back together. The spray is very good and the cloth works well not used the wipes or stylus brush yet. The tin box it comes in will be useful when the contents are gone! Worth the money.

A nicely presented and packaged set in a useful storage tin. A good range of contents which seem to be doing the job thus far on some 50 and 60 year old 45s, LPs and 78s. A very useful present for those with similar vintage, vinyl virtues.

Looks good, but as I am giving as a Christmas present cannot coment of effectiveness. Certainly the tin looks like a nice gift tin & the way people leave things lying around my house, it looks as though it will be very useful as well.

Excellent kit, been a great help with keeping my old player in shape - was amazed with the dust that was brushed off from the cartridge head and stylus! Likewise with some of my old (and surprisingly, with newer ones too) records - cleaning them was easy and mess -free. You could possibly do with a record drying stand, but there's only so much you can fit in a small box.
