Bought for my first tattoo back in January. I applied it daily for a week before the tattoo was done, which I think helped the tattoo go well.Second tattoo was done last week and I did the same thing – applied daily for a week before and then every day after for a few weeks.I use it as part of a healing process, washing the tattoo area with Healsporin in the shower, applying an aloe vera gel after drying off, then putting the tattoo butter on an hour or so later. A similar process at night: tattoo butter about two hours before bed, then gently wash the area with a moisturising antiseptic soap and apply the aloe gel again.For the first tattoo, and so far with the new tattoo, this has worked very well: no itching, no inflammation, all going well.And this tiny little pot lasts ages and ages: two tattoos down and there'll still be enough for my third and fourth, possibly even a fifth! Much recommended.

I followed the instructions carefully, as this was for my first tattoo. It was very easy to apply and very soothing. Lasts a long time too.

I had a sample size from my tattoo artist and found it great for aiding healing. A little does go a long way and I reapply around 3-4 times a day. I ran out of the small pot when I recently had a new bigger piece done so ordered this. It can be a bit greasy however it does soak in fairly quickly, smells lovely and once rubbed in it does feel good. On my first tattoo it does bring out its vibrancy. Highly recommend!

I have had one from tattoo studio and I was very happy. I bought another here as it was much cheaper. It does make healing process very smooth. During flaking phase, it didn't itch at all so no scabs! I did use it 3x a day for a week and then 2x for another week. Scent isn't too bad. It's very greasy so for a first 30 mins or so I let it sit without covering it with clothes. I found it that the best way to apply it is to take small amount and wait for it to soften on your fingers. Then apply it on tattoo as this prevents you from putting too much. You only need thin layer. I highly recommend it.

This product looks like poor value compared to others on the amount of aftercare products. However it goes on really thin spreads without a great deal of pressure. Other products I’ve tried tend to be a lot thicker and when spreading can damage the top layer of skin. Still works well once healed to sharpen/brighten a tattoo as well. I won’t be using anything else and other products will just remain in my draw.

Well this is fine does what it says keeps my tattoo that’s new fresh etc however the reviews on here are accurate it is way to oily and when it says it doesn’t caused irritation they are wrong I am still finding myself wanting to scratch when I know I can’t however it isn’t bad not sure I’d buy again.
