KINGPRINT MKS SBASE V1.3 Smoothieware 32 bit Controller Board for 3D Printer

This is a reasonable 32bit board. Works with the TFT32 touchscreen. However, regardless of it being advertised as working with the 12864LCD it doesn't. The config file has it enabled, but it remains lit but blank when powered up. Also upgrade the firmware from MKSbase to Smoothie. I got this to replace the woefully underpowered main board on my tronxy x5s and it does the job quite nicely. Just don't expect to hook it up to a reprap discount 12864LCD or Mks12864 as I have both and tried them. The TFT touch screen works well with it though so that's something.

The board is good value for the money the software is hard to get your head around for me

Item is faulty usb disconnects and wont load firmware

I bought this board as the mini gerbil so called plug and play board did not work at all on my analog K$0 and after numerous calls and them dialling they agreed finally to take the mini gerbil board back and give me back my money.I then bought this on the advice of a friend and installed a special version of GRBL onto it and it works perfectly now on my K40 laser and allows you more importantly to run Lightburn. you need to so some work to get it working in lightburn but it works. Its not plug and play and you need some wires , sd card and so on as well as the right grbl code , for that goto the uk Facebook forum on k40 lasers but its a brilliant board giving you 3 axis and end stops amongst other things. love it and its got my K40 laser working perfectly. Very happy customer
