Easy setup, great quality
Setting up a mini computer sounds like a daunting task, but canakit makes it about as easy as you could ask for. This is actually my second pi I've bought from them (I previously had a rasp pi 3) and the setup was just as straightforward this time around. They include a card with a link to a setup video as well, which is nice for visual learners like myself. The case is good quality (albeit sometimes a bit finicky to get the board set in) and everything fits in snug as intended. Overall setup speed was fast (probably 10-15 minutes). I definitely recommend canakit, especially if you're new to raspberry pi

Very Nice Machine But Pricey
These starter kits are a pretty nice way to get going with the Pi offerings. For this particular build, we added a Raspberry Pi M.2 Hat card and a Gen 4 256GB MVME drive. We also added the CanaKit case extension, Raspberry Pi Active Cooler, and a copper M.2 Heatsink so the Hat card would fit inside the case without any heat issues. The unit was initially tested with a factory Pi image but has been running a full Ubuntu Desktop install ever since. It is currently running 25.04 without any issues. The machine is primarily used for light programming, CAD work and testing. The performance is actually pretty good considering how much we've been abusing it with heavy loads when testing. This build does have issues running Windows 10 and 11. We tried both versions just for fun but didn't spend much time messing around with them due to their ongoing issues.

Works great
This kit is awesome—definite 5 stars. Everything fits together perfectly and works right out of the box. Super easy setup, even if you’re not super techy. The fan was a really nice touch too. Keeps everything cool without being loud, and you can tell they actually thought about airflow and layout when putting this kit together. The case feels solid, and it all comes together in a clean, compact setup. If you're getting started with the Pi 5 or just want a hassle-free way to get everything you need in one go, this kit's the way to go. It’s well put together, works great, and just makes the whole experience smooth.

a great starter kit for anyone interested in a raspberry pi kit
This is such a great upgrade over the Pi 4. I love that I can add an SSD module, plus the faster processor speeds are very much welcome. Everything that is included in this case works very well and is highly recommended by me. Canakit includes everything you need to get up and going quickly.

Pretty awesome little thing.
This is a pretty cool kit. I really liked the fan and heatsink included.Couple things I would change as it’s something marketed toward beginners though. For starters, I didn’t realize there was a micro sd slot on the bottom of the Pi (or even to look for it) I was plugging it into the usb adapter and then plugging the usb into the Pi. Call me stupid— but i genuinely didn’t know.Spent a couple hours trying to get it to boot. In that scenario it would post but wouldn’t load the GUI so it was super misleading.Eventually I just installed the OS on a USB and posted it that way until I cloned it over onto an NVME. I think a really easy fix would be to just add a little placard labeling each part of the Pi— maybe some arrows connecting the parts. Etc.Second issue I had was, as a starter kit, I didn’t like that you get a little bottlenecked by the case right off the bat. I feel like the starter kit should include a case the leaves room for growth. But that’s just my opinion.Overall though, i love it. Hosting websites and databases for personal use from it. Works like a champ. Stays impressively cool too with that fan.

This is something for anyone of all ages, and fun too!
I'm using mine for a media server. It is great for Jellyfin server. The specs on this generation are awesome too! Overall, this is a great and substantial product for all ages. The Raspberry Pi imager app is a beautiful way to load the Debian OS as well as many other options. There are internet sites for projects that anyone can use to install a wide variety of software for many different purposes. They are so well written and easy to perform the very technical steps required to get going pretty darned quick. This is perfect for kids hobby as well as industrial applications. If you have a tiny amount of experience with Linux and command-line stuff is will pay off in making it even easier to have fun. And it is fun! It helps if yo're a bit of a nerd and like computers and electronics.

Wonderful inside and out
It was delivered on the same day. The product is just perfect. Package contained a bar-code that took me to a wonderful installation video. I assembled everything following the video in 2 minutes. I will recommend Cana-Kit to others.

Quick setup and fast computer
This is an amazing machine and easy setup. There is multiple USB ports. It is tiny, but fast and very sturdy for what I am using it for.
